Thank you for visiting my webpage!  I love teaching reading and I love middle schoolers; both keep me young and make me smile.  

This 2024-2025 school year begins my 30th year of teaching at Wydown Middle!  Prior to being a reading specialist at Wydown, I taught for Special School District both as a teacher assistant and then as a special education teacher in University City.  I was born and raised in St. Louis.  

In my free time, I love to read, shop, eat pasta, and go on long walks, preferably in Colorado! I really enjoy doing all these things I love with my family; I have been married to Greg for 25 years.  We have 2 daughters, Natalie, who is 20 and a sophomore at University of Missouri, and Alyssa, who is 18 and a senior at Clayton High School, and a black lab named Gus.
