    Hi Wydown Community!

My name is Nicole Miller and I am SO EXCITED to join the WMS staff!  I have been teaching physical education for 28 years-- 23 of those in the School District of Clayton at Glenridge Elementary.  I received my bachelors degree in physical education from the University of Missouri- St. Louis and my master’s degree in special education from Webster University.  Before joining the Clayton community, I taught as an adaptive PE teacher for the Special School District.

I have been married to my husband, Jeremy, for 23 years.  We have twins, Amanda and Landon, who are just starting their college careers.  Amanda attends Drake University in Des Moines Iowa and is studying athletic training.  Landon attends the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and is studying criminal justice.  We also have two fur babies... Brock who is a lab/corgi mix and River who is a golden retriever.

    Fun facts about me--

    • I LOVE to organize all types of spaces.  I even have a small business!
    • I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
    • I have 5 brothers and 2 sisters... I am the youngest.
    • I grew up in Creve Coeur and attended Parkway North High School
    • In 2022, I was awarded Elementary PE Teacher of the Year for the St. Louis region by MOSHAPE (Missouri Society of Health and Physical Educators).

My goal as a physical educator is to give students the skills, knowledge and motivation to become physically active as part of a healthy lifestyle.

    Here's to a great year!
