Good morning, CHS! Today is Friday, August 17th.  Today is an A Day.

Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance:

I pledge Allegiance, to the flag, of the United States of America

And to the Republic, for which it stands.

One Nation.  Under God. Indivisible.  With Liberty and Justice for all.

Thank you.   Here are the morning announcements:

    GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Wydown 6th Graders are heading to Sherwood Forest for 6th Grade Camp September 24th-27th!

We're looking for CHS sophomores through seniors who are interested in being a counselor at Sixth Grade Camp!

Are you Energetic, Positive, Responsible, and Love to Work with Kids? If so, please go to the Wydown Website and apply to be a counselor.  If you have any questions see Dr. Luhning.

    CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hey Seniors.  Get your senior picture taken! The photo company comes to Clayton for the photo sessions now. No driving to a studio.  It's too easy! To schedule an appointment go to www.prestigeportraits.com.

You MUST be photographed by Prestige to be in the yearbook and on the class composite that hangs in the front entrance of the school.  We do not accept photos from any other photographer.

    CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS

All students, if you have yearbook on your schedule, please be sure to check your school email regarding upcoming meetings!

All current Student Council members need to stop by Mr. Aiello's classroom, number 128, sometime today.  You will need to tell him your protein choice for the STUCO retreat this weekend.

Or are you finding geometry difficult?  Then we have opportunities for all of you! Join the Helping Hounds program. Volunteer to tutor CHS students or be tutored by your peers. Join to earn service hours or to improve your grade, right here at CHS before or after school with your own flexible schedule!

Interested? Potential tutors or tutees, stop by the Learning Center downstairs in Room 16 before or after school and talk to Mr. Robinson or Ms. Lenhoff-Bell for more information.

Interested in joining the speech & debate team?  Come to our informational meeting on Tuesday at 7:20 a.m. in Room 40.  See Mr. Seiwell or Maddy Bale with any questions!
