Course Change Requests

  • Just a reminder that if a student wants to change a course the teacher or the parent who initiated the change needs to complete the google form. This allows us to have all needed people informed and approved by administration before a change takes place. These changes may include dropping courses, semester or year-long, or content acceleration.

    If you would like to discuss a possible change out of a year-long elective at semester, please fill out the Google form below. Please be aware that class changes will only be considered at the end of 1st semester. Once it is received, you will be connected to the department manager and/or teacher.

  • Semester Elective - Change Requests

    Although we try our best to create the best schedule for each child, sometimes we miss the mark. If you would like to request a change to your child's schedule, please fill out and submit the below Google form. Someone from the Counseling Department will follow-up with you as soon as possible.
     
    Parents may request course changes through the first week of the semester ending Friday, January 10, 2025.
     
    Course changes will be based on availability and cannot be guaranteed. This form is for semester elective classes only.

  • Year-Long Elective - Change Request

    Year-long courses require a commitment. Typically, they are continuous (sequential) and do not offer re-entry points. Although private lessons or tutoring can help, it often isn't enough to get caught up to restart the following year. These classes work on year-long projects and often involve group work. Losing a member can have a large impact on the remaining classmates.  Therefore, the decision to change out of a year-long class needs to be considered carefully.

    If you would like to discuss a possible change out of a year-long elective at semester, please fill out the Google form below. Please be aware that class changes will only be considered at the end of 1st semester. Once it is received, you will be connected to the department manager and/or teacher. Final approval must be given by Dr. Jordan before the change can be made. If the change is approved, you will be contacted about elective options available during the same period as the dropped class for 2nd semester. Pending approval, changes to student schedules will be permitted through the first week of the semester ending Friday, January 10, 2025.
