While students at this age crave more skill-based art instruction, students will still be exploring art making with various media. Having students practice creative problem solving techniques to gain independence is a focus this year and many leave having gained just that.  

Students completing this class often leave with an overwhelming urge to create art all the time and will likely want to enroll in more visual art classes in eighth grade!
