District Committees
There are many district committees on which teachers may serve. Each curriculum area has a committee. Additional committees include professional development (PDC) and Professional Relations Council (PRC). While not every committee meeting is a professional learning opportunity, many of the meetings are devoted to learning. Additionally, teachers are learning about leadership and/or curriculum by serving on the committee. These committees provide extensive opportunities for professional growth through study, collaboration, and the development of shared vision and goals.
