    Colgate is a highly selective, coeducational, liberal arts college of 2,994 students located 40 miles southeast of Syracuse. Colgate offers 56 concentrations (majors) in 22 departments, sponsors international and domestic semester-long study groups, and independent studies and internships with Colgate alumni.
