The Gay-Straight Alliance held an event on Thursday, May 3, to protest MO House Bill 2051 which would outlaw their right to have a GSA. Halo Howell and Nadia Diamond, two of the GSA's co-presidents spoke along with Representative Stacey Newman, Chair of the Missouri House Progressive Caucus and AJ Bockelman, Executive Director of PROMO, a statewide organization which advocates for the LGBT community.
