Description of School:Smith College is a small liberal arts women's college located in Northampton, Ma. We have an open curriculum, so students are only required to complete a major, half their credits be outside of their major, and take an writing intensive course in order to graduate. There are many hands on experience at Smith including, but not limited to, research, internships, and entrepreneurial programs. We have over 50 majors, minors, and concentrations; 100+ clubs and organizations; 11 Division III varsity sports; and 37 houses and 15 dining halls.
