The School District of Clayton recognizes the integral role that parents play in the academic and personal lives of their children. Learning doesn’t stop when school dismisses each day; parents are critical to the continuation of their children’s learning outside of the District’s classrooms. That's why the District created its Parent Speaker Series in 2017. In its inaugural year, hundreds of District parents attended a wide variety of sessions, from “Kids, Parents & Power Struggles” to “A Parent’s Guide to Social Media.”
This year's Speaker Series lineup built on the learning that took place last year with several informative, thought-provoking presentations. Stay tuned for the 2019-2020 Speaker Series lineup to be announced this fall!
