WMS Spanish Class Learns as a Part of Acknowledging National Hispanic Heritage Month

September 15 is the first day of National Hispanic Heritage Month. This commemorative holiday celebrates the contributions and culture of those who are part of the hispanic community. As a part of acknowledging National Hispanic Heritage Month, a Spanish class at Wydown Middle School learned about 21 Spanish-speaking countries as a part of a scavenger hunt. Students created posters with facts about important cultural figures, historical events, and fun facts. View their posters and the day of the scavenger hunt below.
