CHS Students Bring Home Awards in National Writing Contest
The following Clayton High School students won recognition in the national Scholastic Writing Awards Contest for the Missouri region.
- Seraphina Corbo, sophomore, Honorable Mention in Poetry, "The Face and the Scar, Helpless"
- Sofia Erlin, senior, Silver Key in Poetry, "the beginning"
- Anisha Jarang, sophomore, Silver Key in Science Fiction & Fantasy, "The Eagle's Embodiment"
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards program is the nation's longest-running, largest, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens.
Writing award winners, selected from hundreds of submissions received throughout the state, will have their pieces published in Missouri Youth Write, an online publication available in June 2021.
