CHS teacher Sarah Falkoff was selected as the Outstanding High School Chemistry Teacher of the Year 2020 through the St. Louis chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
Founded in 1876 and chartered by the U.S. Congress, the ACS is the world’s largest scientific society. Its mission is to advance the broader chemistry enterprise and its practitioners for the benefit of Earth and its people. Its vision is to improve people's lives through the transforming power of chemistry.
Sarah received this award because exemplifies excellence in her teaching of high school chemistry and has contributed in other aspects such as professional growth, curriculum development, course materials preparation, workshop participation, chemical and/or educational research and publications.
