Glenridge Gives 100 Days of School Food Drive
The Glenridge Elementary community is asking for your help. Unless we have another snow day, the 100th day of school will be Wednesday, Jan., 29. To celebrate, they are hosting a special food drive! The grade that reaches 100 items first and the grade that collects the most donations will receive an extra recess!
Please bring in an item (or two or three) from the list below by Tuesday, Jan., 28. Your donation(s) will help keep the Glenridge Gives Pantry fully stocked. We are in need of the following items:
- Kid-friendly cereal
- Breakfast bars
- Canned fruit
- Canned veggies
- Canned tuna/chicken
- Canned soup or stew
- Chili
- Ketchup/Mustard
- Hamburger/Tuna Helper
- Knorr Rice Sides
- Mac n Cheese
- Instant Mashed Potatoes
- Small containers of applesauce
- Fruit cups
- Granola bars
- Juice boxes
- Instant Oatmeal
- Stuffing mix
- Pancake mix (Just add water)
- Pasta/Pasta sauce
- Popcorn
- Syrup
- Fully cooked bacon
- Regular size peanut butter and jelly/jam in plastic containers
- Snacks such as: Ritz Bits, Goldfish crackers, pretzels, Wheat Thins, saltines, fruit snacks, Pop-Tarts, chips
