Glenridge Elementary students, staff and their families celebrated the diversity of their school community with an evening filled with food, music and camaraderie at the annual Taste of the World on Friday, Sept. 20. At the event, students and staff shared the food, drinks and other artifacts that represent their family’s culture. Attendees enjoyed learning more about each of the cultures that converge at Glenridge to make it a wonderfully diverse community.

Taste of the World is one of the annual Merge of Cultures events hosted in partnership between Glenridge and its PTO throughout the year. The events celebrate the many cultures and ethnicities represented at Glenridge and teach students about the unique traditions and beliefs within each of these cultures.
