    • Screening Schedule



      Health Screenings
      Vision and hearing screens are essential to identify students at risk for vision and hearing problems that can affect a student's learning. Hearing screens are provided by a specialist from Special School District. If a potential concern is detected, the school nurse will notify the parent/guardian to recommend followup.
       
      Early Childhood Center
      Vision Screening: All students aged 3-5 years.
      Hearing Screening: All students aged 3-5 years.
       
      Elementry Schools
      Vision Screening: All students
      Hearing Screening: K, 1, 3, 5, any new students to the district and any student being served by Special School District.
       
      Middle School
      Vision Screening: 7th graders, any new students to the district, and students served by Special School District.
      Hearing Screening: 7th graders, any new students to the district, and students served by Special School District.
       
      High School
      Vision Screening: 9th grade, any new students to the district, and students served by Special School District.
      Hearing Screening: 9th grade, any new students to the district, and students served by Special School District.
