Clayton Summer Programs 2018
Clayton Summer Academy, for students entering grades nine through 12, will be housed at Clayton High School. Registration for CSA classes will take place concurrently with the CHS registration process for the 2018-2019 school year. Courses will be offered for either four or five weeks; the four-week courses are considered accelerated curriculum due to the concentrated nature of the content. The four-week courses will be held from June 5-29, while five-week courses will be offered from June 5-July 3. Wydown Summer Academy, for students entering sixth through eighth grades, will be housed at WMS from June 4-29. WSA has two tracks of classes - academic support and enrichment classes. Academic support is designed for students entering sixth through eighth grade who need the continuation of instruction during the summer to maintain and reinforce skills in literacy, science and math. Enrichment classes are designed to provide opportunities for students to engage in challenging classes that enhance the regular curriculum. Elementary Summer Academy, for students entering first through fifth grades, will take place at Meramec Elementary School from June 4-29. ESA is designed for students needing additional academic support. Recommended students will receive a packet in the mail around the time of parent-teacher conferences.
, a summer day camp for students entering kindergarten through eighth grades, will be located at Clayton High School, The Center of Clayton and Shaw Park. SummerQuest features six weeks of K-6 activities and programs and a two-week arts & science program for seventh- and eighth-graders. Below are the dates for each session. Visit www.summerquest.org
