    Bank of America - Student Leaders Program. Every year, through our Student Leaders program we help connect 225 community-minded high school juniors and seniors to employment, skills development and service. They’re awarded paid summer internships with local nonprofits such as Boys and Girls Clubs of America and participate in a national leadership summit in Washington, D.C.       This 5-day summer camp is for high school-aged singers who love vocal and choral music. TU vocal faculty along with guest artists will guide students in the preparation of classical solos appropriate for auditions and contests as well as in semi-staged operatic scenes. The choral portion will feature choral repertoire selected for this camp, including All-State mixed choral music preparation for the coming academic year.

     Washington University - Attention High School Seniors Considering the Premed Path in College. Washington University in St. Louis is now offering a unique 6-week course this summer through University College to all pre-freshman (i.e. graduating high school seniors) in the St. Louis area who are considering the premedical route in college. The course is called MedPrep I (Bio 2651). 

    • The course runs from 6/11/18-7/20/18 on MondayWednesday, and Friday from 3-5 pm. This 1-credit course is a lecture series. There is no homework and no exams.

      This course will give students about to head off to college a road map on how to start the premed path successfully. It reviews the common mistakes that premedical students make early in college and reviews the entire educational pathway required to become a successful physician. It details what items a rising freshman in college should be thinking about when it comes to course work, majors, extracurricular activities, research, etc. MedPrep I is a very high yield, fun and inspiring course.
