    9th – 12th Grade

    Prerequisite:  Teacher Reccommendation

    College-Prep Algebra 1 is intended to build a foundation for students progressing through the College-Prep sequence. Topics studied in this course include algebraic expressions, linear equations and functions, linear inequalities, systems of linear equations, exponents and exponential functions, and quadratic expressions, functions and equations. Students will access the curriculum through Glencoe McGraw-Hill’s Algebra I CCSS textbook.  The TI-Nspire CX graphing calculator is used for demonstrations, class activities and homework.  It is strongly recommended that each student purchase a TI-Nspire CX graphing calculator.
