I have lived in St. Louis all my life. I attended Washington University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I began my teaching career at Captain Elementary in Clayton School District in 1989. After I had my second child in 1995, I took a seven year leave of absence to raise my children. I returned to Captain in 2002 and moved to Glenridge in 2008. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.
I am married, and I have 3 children. My husband just retired from teaching in Rockwood School District. My daughter, Kathryn, lives with her husband and 3 dogs in South County and teaches online. My son, Francesco, is a product manager for Discord in San Francisco, and my youngest daughter, Emily, is a third year student at SLU Law.I am looking forward to a fabulous school year!
