Glenridge Elementary School

I joined Glenridge Elementary in 2006 and have been teaching English Language Learners from Asia, Europe, South America, North and Central America, and Africa ever since! I love teaching our wonderful international students; their contributions to our school’s diversity are invaluable. This is such a terrific community of educators, parents, and students! I'm passionate about teaching and absolutely love being a life-long learner alongside my students.

I was born and raised in Argentina, where I taught English as a Foreign Language for seven years before moving to the U.S. in 2001 to teach Spanish in Breese, IL. I spent five years at Mater Dei High School before my journey at Glenridge began. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Secondary EFL Teaching (English as a Foreign Language) from Argentina and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Saint Louis University.

Here in St. Louis, I met my husband Mike, who is from Sweden. We have two daughters, Mikaela and Cecilia, and a Siberian cat named Luna. When not at school, I prioritize spending time with family and friends, who are like our extended family in the U.S. I am passionate about stargazing, learning about astronomy and geography, going for walks, reading, gardening, swimming, and just relaxing at home with a cup of coffee. Traveling to Europe and South America to visit our families in the summertime is one of my favorite activities. This summer, we will travel to Argentina to tour Patagonia and visit with our family and friends in Cordoba.
