Mrs. Horn (previously Reich)

I am thrilled to be a part of the Glenridge community teaching second grade! I am so fortunate to teach in a school with such incredible students, staff, and parents!

Teaching is truly my passion! I am unbelievably lucky to get to spend every day learning alongside my students. The many teachers I had growing up that truly lived and loved every moment of teaching, inspired me to share that my own students. I grew up in St. Louis, and went through the Ladue school system (rivals, I know!)

Before coming to Glenridge, I did my Fellowship Teaching Experience through the University of Missouri-Columbia. I taught 3rd grade in Hannibal, MO while obtaining my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. My research druing that year was cooperative learning strategies.  Before that, I graduated from University of Missouri-Columbia in 2013, with Bachelor's degrees in Elemenatry Education and Psychology, along with a minor in English.

I have taught here at Glenridge for 11 years. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, and I found 2nd grade to be a magical and impactful grade-level that I throughly enjoy! Teaching is what truly makes me happy in life, and I am ecstatic to teach in such an amazing district at such a unique and wonderful school.
