- Glenridge Elementary School
- Health & Safety Statement
-
September 2020With the health and safety of the community in mind, the GCC board has decided it's in the best interest for all that the School District of Clayton assume responsibility for before and after care programming. This will ensure consistency across all COVID-19 related processes and procedures while providing a greater level of responsive support.
In the spring of 2021, Glenridge families will be given an opportunity to provide formal feedback and rate their satisfaction with the District operated Kid Zone program.
What does this mean for the program?
-
The before/after care program (titled Glenridge Children's Center) at Glenridge Elementary will be provided by Kid Zone for the 2020-21 school year.
-
Overall programming and administration will be provided by Tyler Kearns, who has been the KidZone Coordinator for the District for over 10 years.
-
All GCC financial accounts will be temporarily frozen, until a decision is made as to whether or not to reinstate GCC at Glenridge.
What does this mean for your family?
-
Your children will still experience a safe and enriching before/after care program.
-
Before/after care will function differently simply because of measures put in place to keep our children safe during this pandemic.
-
2019-20 year-end statements from GCC will be sent to families who have had their children enrolled in this service.
Visit the Kid Zone page for more information about before and after care at Glenridge fore 2020-2021.
Should you have any questions or concerns you are welcome to reach out to the GCC Board of Directors at glenridgegcc@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
Glenridge Children's Center Board of Directors -
