Mrs. Guyre
My name is Katie Guyre. In addition to being an educator, I am also a wife and mother of 3 wonderful children. I attended Illinois State University and graduated with a BS in Elementary Education in 2006. I began my journey as an elementary teacher in 2007. I taught 4th, 3rd and 2nd grade. In 2011, I received my MA in reading along with my reading specialist certification from Webster University. In 2014, I joined the outstanding Glenrdige community as the K-2 reading specialist.
My passion is watching children grow and take on the work as readers. The work of reading launches into boundless opportunities.
