    About Me

Hello!  I am Susannah Scotino.  I come from a family of educators so learning has been a passion of mine since I came into this world.  I have a younger sister who, despite many complaints and arguments, was subject to my practice sessions as a teacher while we were growing up.  Reading, gardening, cooking, listening to or making music, and running are a few of my activities of choice when I have some free time.  My mother used to be a music teacher so I have been brought up to appreciate the power of music and incorporate it quite often into lessons and activities.  I grew up in St. Louis and attended the University of Missouri, Columbia, where I enjoyed getting my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and my graduate degree in Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment while cheering on the Missouri Tigers!  I met my husband, Tony, while at Mizzou and we love to go back every fall for the big homecoming weekend and football game.  I recently completed my Math Specialist Certification from UMSL.  We now have 2 daughters, Ida and Eloise, who are the joys of our lives.
I am so happy to be continuing my career at Glenridge!  I have loved every minute of it so far and cannot wait to see where my journey here takes me.
