Look at Meramec summer school students building their reading stamina while in the library.  To build reading stamina, teachers and librarian work with each student to select "just right" books that increase stamina while cultivating a joy in reading.  Each day at summer school, all students read independently.  Their independent reading minutes are collected and data is submitted to the St. Louis County Library where students earn reading incentives via the Missouri State Summer reading program titled "One World, Many Stories."
