This will be my 17th year in education.  For the past 5 years, I have been an assistant principal at an elementary school in Affton. Previously, I taught 5th and 3rd grade here at Meramec.  Before my time at Meramec, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in the Raytown District in Kansas City. My passion lies in creating a space where all students feel comfortable, safe, and welcome to be themselves.  I believe in allowing students to make mistakes in an environment where they are supported to learn and grow.
