• Hello!

Thanks for taking the time to learn a little bit more about me.  Below is a brief bio:

I have worked in education for twenty-two years, the last twelve of those at Captain.  I began my career teaching Science in Texas for four years, then returned home to St. Louis and taught in the gifted program in Rockwood for two years.  I then spent three years in the Philippines as a Peace Corps volunteer before returning home and joining the Captain staff as a 5th grade teacher in 2002.  After one year back in the classroom, I moved to the counseling position and found my "home" for the past twelve years.

    Interests:
I am scuba certified, and love to dive, although I haven't been diving in quite some time.  I have recently been turned on to the scrapbooking craze, have begun piano lessons and am an avid reader.  Depending on when you talk to me, I might also be in a workout phase, if so, Jazzercise is my exercise of choice.
