    Hello, my name is Sarah Gottemoeller and this is my 19th year with the School District of Clayton. I teach English learners at Meramec and Captain Elementary.  I grew up in Missouri, near Hermann, and now live in South City.   I met my husband, Yoany Lopez while studying abroad in Costa Rica.  We have 2 children, David and Lucia, and a dog, Frankie.

    I love working with students from all over the world. I learn so much about their cultures and lives back home.  My life is enriched by knowing my students and their families and supporting them as they join our school community.
