Debbie Dornfeld, Athletic Administrative Assistant
debradornfeld@claytonschools.net
Debbie is beginning her 13th year in the athletic department at CHS. She was an incredibly mediocre yet highly spirited swimmer in high school who earned her only varsity letters as her high school's mascot. Deb brings 30+ years of experience in customer service and office management to CHS and absolutely loves working with high school athletes and coaches. Deb is the Gatekeeper for ALL FORMS at CHS and is vital to the department as she is the first person you see as you walk into the office. She coordinates forms, eligibility, bills, XC Invitational, CHS Golf Tournament, Marion Freeman Invitational and communication for the department. These are obviously only a few of her responsibilities, but her biggest asset to the department is her presence.
As mentioned before, she is the first person you see when you walk in, and in a lot of ways she is the face of CHS Athletics. Deb is the point person for the department and can help answer/guide/direct any question you might have. Deb has also been featured in the GLOOB which is the spoof on the CHS Globe about eligibility cards. Please note: The GLOOB is a work of satire by The Globe staff.
Deb holds a Master's Degree in Christian Education from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master's Degree in History from University of Missouri-St. Louis, a Bachelor of Arts in History and Radio, TV, & Film from University of Missouri-Columbia, and a currently expired, yet highly treasured, Private Pilot’s License from the Federal Aviation Administration. (she really likes school, learning, and, let’s not kid, flying).
