On Saturday, CHS Biomedical Innovations research students competed in the St. Louis Science Academy Honors Science Fair. Olivia Reuter and Katherine Sleckman were selected after the first round of judging to present their research projects in the Final Round of only ten students. Clayton High School was the only school to have two students make it to finals.
This is a huge accomplishment because most of the projects that make it to the final round were conducted at Universities working with a professor or graduate student and our students chose their own research topics and conducted the data collection here at CHS.
The other CHS students who competed were Daniel James, Jack Zitzer, Stephanie Villarie, Akansha Goel and Grace Monhausen.
CHS students received praise from the judges for being the only school to include statistical analysis as a part of their research.
The research posters will be on display later this week in the library.
