New CHS Students Prepare for First Day
Incoming freshmen, along with students in grades 10-12 who are new to Clayton High School this year, participated in orientations on Friday, Aug. 9. The purpose of the orientations is to ensure students have a smooth transition to their new school.
At Freshman Orientation, junior and senior Link Crew members led large and small group activities for the ninth-graders designed to address each student's needs and concerns about high school in a fun, interactive way. During New Student Orientation, students met several CHS staff and took a tour of the school. They also had the opportunity to ask questions of current CHS students and staff.
