Clayton Schools Ranked Fourth in Nation

The School District of Clayton has been ranked as the fourth best school district in the nation for the second consecutive year on Niche K-12's 2018 rankings. The District, Clayton High School, Wydown Middle School and Captain Elementary School also were ranked first in the state in their respective “best schools” rankings. Glenridge Elementary took the second spot in the Missouri ranking, followed closely by Meramec Elementary at number four.

Niche K-12 is a website that provides reviews and insights from students, parents and professionals about neighborhoods, cities and K-12 and higher education institutions. In addition to the Niche K-12 overall state and national rankings, the District also was ranked first in the state and 16th in the country in the ranking of the best places to teach.
