The school district of Clayton requires all school volunteers who will have recurring contact with students to complete the volunteer enrollment process, which includes completing an enrollment form and a background check. This applies to volunteers for field trips, class tutoring, art room and library (but does not apply to volunteers for class parties). Volunteer enrollment details and application forms are available on the District’s website. The process takes a few days and must be done annually.
