Filing for the Board of Education Election will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025 at 8 a.m. and continue through Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025 at 5 p.m. Three directors will be elected to three-year terms (April 2025 through April 2028). 

Candidates must file in person at the St Louis County Board of Elections Commission located at 725 Northwest Plaza, St. Ann, Missouri, 63074. No filing will occur at the District office. The Board of Elections office is open during the filing period from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except on the last day of filing, when the office is open until 5:00 p.m. The St Louis County Board of Elections office will be closed on Dec. 25, Saturdays, Sundays and may close due to inclement weather.  

The ballot placement for all candidates who file on the first day of candidate filing will be determined by random drawing. Candidates filing after Dec. 9 will be placed on the ballot in the order of filing. Candidates filing on the last day should arrive by 4 p.m. to make sure the filing process is completed by the 5 p.m. deadline. 

Candidates must be citizens of the United States, residents of the State of Missouri and the School District of Clayton for a minimum of one year preceding the election, and at least 24 years of age.
