Amy Perry To Be Next Director Of The Family Center

Amy Perry has been selected to be the next Director of the Family Center. She replaces Debbie Reilly, who is retiring at the end of the 2022-2023 school year after 38 years of service to the Family Center community.

“We are excited to have Amy return to the Clayton community,” explained Clayton Superintendent Dr. Nisha Patel. “Her dedication, knowledge and passion for early childhood education was evident throughout the entire interview process.  We look forward to seeing the Family Center continue to thrive under her leadership.”

Perry is returning to the Family Center after working as the head of school and opening a new Guidepost Montessori campus in Ellisville. She previously worked for nine years as an early childhood educator at The Family Center. She holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Maryville University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Stephens College.

"I am thrilled to be returning to the Family Center and working to empower students, teachers and families to partner as learners,” said Perry. I look forward to serving our families and staff and helping our youngest learners start their journey in the Clayton community."

Perry will officially begin her work with the Family Center community on July 1.
