Seven Recent Grads Earn Perfect ACT Score
Seven members of Clayton High School’s Class of 2019 earned a perfect score on the ACT college admissions examination: Leonard Chen, David Corbo, Justin Guilak, Jacob LaGesse, Kimberley Tran, Andrew Wang and Andrew Withrow.
The ACT consists of subject area tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, plus a 40-minute writing test, designed to measure the skills needed for success in first-year college coursework. More than 1.9 million students in the Class of 2018 took the ACT; of those students, fewer than 2 percent earned a perfect score of 36.
