Seniors Earn Spot in Finals of Cyber Security Challenge
A team of three Clayton High School seniors has earned a spot in the top 10 of 53 teams statewide in the Missouri High School Cyber Security Challenge. Erik Tomasson, Kevin Kotzbauer and Richard Cheng took part in the inaugural competition sponsored by technology services organization MOREnet in September. The Cyber Security Challenge is designed to test students’ skills in networking, programming and operating system security.
As finalists, the team of CHS seniors will advance to round two of the competition held during MOREnet’s annual meeting on Oct. 9 at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri.
