You’re Invited: Clayton Cares Community Speaker Series

Ian Mackey

The School District of Clayton is dedicated to creating an inclusive school community where everyone feels welcome. In an effort to ensure that Clayton is truly a place for everyone to grow as learners in head and heart, the District created the Clayton Cares Community Speaker Series in 2025.

Organized in partnership with the District’s Equity Committee, this series brings in outside experts to share their insights on identity and inclusion. This year, the series shines a light on the rich histories and experiences of the Jewish, African American, Asian and LGBTQ+ communities.

Students, staff and families are invited to attend the second installment of the series, presented in partnership with the City of Clayton’s Community Equity Commission and featuring Missouri State Representative Ian Mackey (District 99).
