New Director of Summer Academy

Angie Caracciolo

The School District of Clayton is excited to announce the appointment of Angie Caracciolo, EdD, as the director of Summer Academy for the 2025–2026 school year. In this leadership role, Caracciolo will guide the vision, programming and administration of the District’s K–12 summer school program.

An experienced classroom teacher and educational leader, Caracciolo has served as the District’s K–12 mathematics curriculum coordinator since 2014. She joined the District in 2008 as a math teacher at Clayton High School, and has taught at both the elementary and secondary level over the years.

She holds a doctorate in education and a specialist degree in educational leadership from Saint Louis University, a master’s degree in mathematics education from Webster University, and a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Dayton.

Summer Academy will run June 8 through July 2. While details on Summer Academy are still being finalized, the program will include:

  • In-person instruction for students in grades K–8
  • Both in-person and virtual learning opions for high school students
  • Enhanced academic offerings tailored to student needs and interests

“As the director of the program, I am committed to designing programming and structures that reflect the District’s mission of inspiring each student to love learning and embrace challenge within a rich and rigorous academic culture,” Caracciolo said. “Our goal is to ensure that all students experience meaningful growth during their time with us.”
