District logo

Updated Jan. 20, 2026

This story has been updated to reflect a change in the Board of Education election.

Three candidates will appear on the April 7 ballot to fill three open seats on the School District of Clayton Board of Education. The candidates are:

  • Meade Greenberg
  • Erin Linnenbringer
  • Jason Growe

A fourth candidate initially filed for the election but has since withdrawn.

The Board will hold its annual new-member onboarding and reorganization meeting on April 15, after which the new members will begin serving three-year terms on the Board of Education.

About the Candidates

Meade Greenberg

Meade Greenberg is a Clayton native with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of San Francisco. Meade taught elementary school and middle school math in San Francisco for 10 years before working for MIND Education, a non-profit focused on math education. Meade and her husband, Evan, returned to Clayton from California in 2021, and have a son at The Family Center and a daughter at Meramec.

Erin Linnenbringer

Erin Linnenbringer first moved to Clayton as a student at Washington University where she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She also holds a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from Northwestern University and a PhD in Health Behavior & Health Education from the University of Michigan. Erin and her husband, Keith, returned to Clayton in 2014 when she accepted a position in the Division of Public Health Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine, where she is currently an Associate Professor. Throughout her two children’s Clayton education (Claire, 11th grade; Nate, 9th grade), Erin has been an active member of the school community, including serving on the Captain PTO Executive Board and district-wide committees. She believes her professional experience in higher education, data analysis and community engagement will bring complementary skills and additional perspectives to the Clayton Board of Education.

Jason Growe

Jason Growe has served on the School District of Clayton Board of Education since 2022 and currently serves as Vice President, bringing a strong record of leadership, fiscal stewardship and commitment to academic excellence. A former Teach For America educator in St. Louis Public Schools, Jason has spent his career supporting strong public schools and serving the community through nonprofit and civic leadership. He and his wife, Rebecca, live in Clayton with their two daughters — Sasha, a Wydown Middle sixth grader, and Lana, a Meramec Elementary third grader — giving him first hand perspective as a district parent. Professionally, Jason is CEO of LiveWell Partners, where he leads a multi-state home care organization and brings deep experience in budgeting, strategic planning and team leadership to his work on the Board.
