• We want to continue to provide you with the latest information about the coronavirus. Our team of health professionals and District administrators is working to both monitor this situation on a daily basis and manage the District’s response to this outbreak. We are also continuing to work with our local and state health agency partners. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) has developed this helpful fact sheet and has a website dedicated to information about this new illness. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also has resources and information about the coronavirus.

    UPDATED MARCH 17, 2020

Dear Clayton Families and Staff -

When the mention of the coronavirus first surfaced in January, I’m sure very few of us imagined we would be at the point of closing our school buildings and initiating a plan for students to continue their learning at home. However, we have been proactively planning for that contingency since late February and I feel confident about our direction moving forward.  Now that we are here, we want to be sure you are informed about our plan for continued learning.

Please take a minute to watch this video message before you continue reading.

    Student/Family Support
As part of our continued learning plan, we need to gather some information from you. The physical and emotional needs of our students are important for learning.

Please complete this confidential Student/Family Support Form if your family is in need of meals or other resources.

    Internet Access
Our continued learning plan centers around distributing devices to students to use at home. Students in grades K-2 will be provided with an iPad, students in grades 3-8 will be provided with a Chromebook and students in grades 9-12 will continue to use their District-provided Chromebooks.

Families need to have reliable internet access at home so that students can be actively engaged in their learning. Spectrum Internet is offering qualifying families access for 60 days. More information is available here.

Please complete this confidential form if you are in need of reliable access to the internet at home.
