This is my 15th year teaching and my 10th year teaching gifted students.  As a former gifted kid myself, I have never stopped wanting to learn. I have two undergraduate degrees, one in elementary education from Northern Kentucky University, and one in history from Washington University in St. Louis. I earned my master's degree in gifted education from Maryville University in 2014.  I also received my national board certification in early adolescent social studies in 2017. In addition to learning, I love to do yoga, listen to live music, travel, and hang out with my husband, Jason, and our son, Carter.
