Social Work Program

School social workers are trained mental health professionals who provide services related to a person’s social, emotional and life adjustment to school and/or society. The school social workers in Clayton serve as liaisons for teachers, administrators, parents and students between school, home and community agencies for the purpose of improving the overall learning experience for children. School social workers conform to the National Association of Social Work (NASW) Code of Ethics and Standards for Social Work Practice.
