2026 Black Alumni Spotlight

Alexandra Butler (’01) is a celebrity makeup artist, creative director and entrepreneur whose career bridges engineering and beauty. After graduating from CHS, she earned a degree in industrial engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and now applies that analytical precision and artistic vision across print, film, television, fashion and live events. Based in Atlanta, she continues to lead with innovation and mentorship, inspiring others through creativity grounded in purpose, skill and excellence.

Jordan Bond (’03) has built a career rooted in leadership, service and innovation. A University of Missouri graduate, former Mizzou football walk-on and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. member, he spent eight years with BNSF Railway, earned a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Loyola University Chicago and was named Big Brother of the Year by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chicago. Today, he is the founder of FITKONNEKT Gym in Chicago, a tech-enabled fitness and real estate entrepreneur, and a proud father of three.

2025 honorees included Dr. Samantha March (CHS Class of 2003), a St. Louis native and founding Associate Partner of Early Learning for The Opportunity Trust; and Roy Jefferson (CHS Class of 2005), the founder of My 180 Youth, a local organization dedicated to empowering youth ages 10 to 18 through mentorship and community support. Watch the video to learn more.
