Business and Finance
The Office of Business and Finance manages the District’s financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, benefits, facilities, food services, insurance, and tuition/tax credit billing.
Communications
The Office of Communications manages community engagement, media relations, crisis communication, the District website, select special events and more.
Facility Services
Facility Services oversees building maintenance and safety (including The Center of Clayton), construction projects, grounds upkeep, warehouse operations, and transportation schedules, as well as facility rentals.
Human Resources
Human Resources manages recruitment, hiring, employee relations, compensation, and staff development. The department supports all District employees and ensures compliance with employment policies and procedures.
Equity and Student Services
The Equity and Student Services Department supports student success through programs like 504 compliance, gifted identification and services for homeless students. Counseling, health services, non-resident enrollment, and other supports also fall under this department.
Safety and Security
The Safety and Security Department is dedicated to protecting our schools through a comprehensive approach. From collaborating with School Resource Officers to adopting innovative safety tools, the department is focused on creating a secure environment for all.
Teaching and Learning
The Office of Teaching and Learning is responsible for the District's curriculum and instruction, including professional learning, the English Language Development program, assessment, District goals, Clayton's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan and program evaluation.
Technology
The Technology Department supports students, staff and classrooms by providing reliable technology tools and services. From managing devices and networks to supporting digital learning and troubleshooting, the team ensures technology enhances teaching and learning every day. They also lead initiatives to integrate new tools and keep the District connected and secure.
