The School District of Clayton Home-School Reading Connections aims to ensure that you have the strategies you need to support your child's reading development. The activities below cover the five areas of reading development: phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

In addition to these activities, your child can spend time reading independently or with someone. It is important to adapt the activities to your child's interests, learning pace, and schedule, ensuring that reading remains an enjoyable and enriching experience.
