CHS Learning Lab Project

Construction of the CHS Learning Lab is expected to begin in January 2027. The one-story addition will connect to the rear of the school near Adzick Field. The project will require the demolition of two existing classrooms to create a seamless connection to the current building.

The Design Team estimates the project will take between one year and 15 months to complete. When the new Learning Lab opens, it will provide a permanent home for students to fully participate in the school’s growing programs in engineering, robotics, applied math and entrepreneurship.

The Design Team is conducting Owner Review Meetings to gather feedback on the Learning Lab. The first meeting took place on April 22. Additional meetings will be scheduled as needed as the project advances toward the Construction Documents phase.
