Based on preliminary election results, voters in the School District of Clayton overwhelmingly approved Proposition O with 89.24% support. The bond referendum will fund critical facility improvements across the District without increasing the current property tax rate.

Jeanne McQueen, a fifth-grade teacher at Glenridge Elementary School, has been selected as this year’s Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award recipient. Sponsored by Emerson, the award honors outstanding educators across the St. Louis region who exemplify excellence in their field.

According to the 2026 Niche Best Public Schools rankings, all Clayton schools earned A+ ratings, and the District proudly secured the #2 spot in Missouri. While there are many ways to measure success, this recognition reflects the exceptional teaching, learning and support that happen every day across our schools.
