The School District of Clayton is proud to recognize the contributions of its school counseling team during National School Counseling Week, Feb. 2–6. Each day, counselors support students from preschool through high school, playing an essential role across the District’s school community.

Save the date for the Fourth Annual Celebration of Black Achievement on Monday, Feb. 23, at Clayton High School, bringing together students, staff, alumni and community members to honor the achievements and lasting contributions of Black alumni. 

Eight Clayton High School alumni and two former educators will be honored on April 24 and 25.

The School District of Clayton Board of Education voted unanimously at its Jan. 21 meeting to place a $135 million, zero tax rate increase bond referendum on the April 7, 2026, ballot.

As part of the District's commitment to continuous improvement, parents and staff members are invited to complete a brief survey for Superintendent Dr. Nisha Patel.

Three candidates will appear on the April 7 ballot to fill three open seats on the School District of Clayton Board of Education. 

In the most recent audit, the District received an unmodified opinion, the highest rating issued in an independent audit. Find out more.

Clayton High School is proud to announce that nine students have been named Semifinalists and 11 students have earned Commended status in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program.

The District is pleased to announce that Angie Caracciolo, EdD, will serve as the director of Summer Academy.
